Gin Shinga
Gin Shinga (1972-2002), real name Eiji Kumazawa, was a Japanese manga artist from Tsuruoka, Yamagata. He debuted after winning Shueisha's Hop Step Award in 1994 with 'Oni ga Kitarite', worked as an assistant to Nobuhiro Watsuki on 'Rurouni Kenshin', and serialized 'Oni ga Kitarite' in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1996, following it with the mystery manga 'Shonen Tantei Q' (story by Enjin) in 1998. He died in 2002 at the age of 29 of heart failure attributed to stress-induced anorexia.
