Goro Sakasai

Goro Sakasai (born 1952 in Chiba Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. He debuted in 1970 with Zukkoke Oban, which earned an honorable mention in Weekly Shonen Jump's 3rd Newcomer Manga Award, and went on to draw Jump series such as Aitsu! (written by Hisao Maki) and Crime Sweeper (written by Buronson). Having published in all five major weekly shonen magazines, he is, alongside Go Nagai, one of the few artists to have serialized work in six weekly shonen magazines; from the 1990s he worked jointly with his wife under the shared pen name Takumi Sugihara.
