Haruichi Furudate
Haruichi Furudate (born 1983 in Karumai, Iwate Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. Furudate received an honorable mention in the JUMP Treasure Newcomer Manga Award in 2008 with 'Osama Kid' and debuted in 2009 with 'Asobiba.' in Akamaru Jump. After a first series, 'Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya-senpai no Kaidan' (2010), Furudate — a volleyball club member in middle and high school — serialized the volleyball manga 'Haikyu!!' in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020.
