Hitoshi Tanimura
Born on September 13, 1953 in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, he worked as an assistant to Joya Kagemaru from 1972 and received an honorable mention in the 17th Tezuka Award in 1979. He made his serial debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1980 with Show Up High School, followed by Super Police in the same magazine in 1981. He later moved to seinen magazines and became known for pachinko-themed manga, beginning with Pachinko Don Quixote in Morning in 1995.
