Izumi Matsumoto

Izumi Matsumoto (October 13, 1958 - October 6, 2020), real name Kazuya Terashima, was a Japanese manga artist born in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. He began serializing Kimagure Orange Road in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1984; the series quickly became a hit with an art style then new to the magazine and design-conscious color pages, and helped pioneer Jump's romantic-comedy line.
