Jun Tomizawa

Born on April 11, 1960 in Tokyo, he worked as an assistant to Masami Kurumada before debuting in 1981 with Commander 0, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. In the same magazine he drew Gakuen Johobu H.I.P. (1984-85, adapted into a TV drama in 1987) and Pankra Boy. He moved to Super Jump in 1988 and gained popularity with Kigyo Senshi Yamazaki, which began in 1993.
