Kawada
Kawada (b. 1983) is a Japanese manga artist who started out in Kodansha's Morning magazine, received an honorable mention at the 77th Tezuka Award in 2009 for the one-shot 'Love and Justice,' and worked as an assistant to Kuroko's Basketball creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki. Kawada serialized the sumo manga Hinomaru Sumo in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2014 to 2019, followed in 2023-2024 by the mixed-martial-arts series Asumi Kakeru (Martial Master Asumi), which shares the same setting.
