Kazuo Ohira

Kazuo Ohira (b. 1954, Shimane Prefecture) is a Japanese gag manga artist who debuted in 1977 with Marathon Shacho in Weekly Shonen Jump. His Bikubiku Nyanko earned an honorable mention at the Akatsuka Award in late 1977 and was serialized in the magazine in 1978-79, followed by I Am Dosshi in 1979. He later ended his exclusive contract with Shueisha and moved to Weekly Shonen King, also drawing baseball and four-panel manga in later years.
