Kei Takazawa
Kei Takazawa is an early pen name of manga artist Tsutomu Hiramatsu (born 1959), who comes from Shiga Prefecture. He won Tezuka Prize honors twice as a young man (an honorable mention at 19 and a runner-up prize at 21 for Idaten Hawk), and Mad Dog, written by Buronson, was his first serialization. As Tsutomu Hiramatsu he went on to serialize Tobu Kyōshitsu (1985), which dealt with nuclear themes and radiation, and Hustle Kenpō Tsuyoshi (1986) in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
