Kenji Nanba
Gekiga artist born in 1940 in Ogikubo, Suginami, Tokyo. After a rental-library debut while still in high school, Nanba assisted Takao Saitō, joined Saitō's "Gekiga Shūdan" collective and founded Nanba Production. As the rental-manga market declined, Nanba moved to magazines such as Weekly Shōnen King, Weekly Shōnen Magazine and Weekly Manga Action.
