Kenta Shinohara

Kenta Shinohara (b. 1974, Chiba Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist who once worked as an assistant to Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi and debuted in 2005 with 'Lesser Panda Puppet Show' in Akamaru Jump. His Sket Dance, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2007 to 2013, won the 55th Shogakukan Manga Award (2010), and Kanata no Astra (Astra Lost in Space), published on Shonen Jump+, won the 12th Manga Taisho (2019). Since 2021 he has been serializing Witch Watch in Weekly Shonen Jump; all three series received TV anime adaptations.
