Kimio Yanagisawa

Kimio Yanagisawa (born September 26, 1948, in Gosen, Niigata) is a Japanese manga artist. He debuted in 1970 with Zunbarabin in Weekly Shonen Jump, received an honorable mention at the 4th Tezuka Award in 1972, and serialized Onna Darake (1973–1975) and Onsen Boy (1975–1976) in the magazine. His 1978 series Tonda Couple, adapted to film and television, was a major hit, and his later seinen work includes Tsuma o Metoraba, Dai-Shimin and Tokumei Kakarichō Tadano Hitoshi, which was also adapted for the screen.
