Koji Maki

Koji Maki (born July 21, 1958, in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist who debuted in 1981 with 'Jiro Hurricane' in Shonen King. After working as an assistant to Tetsuo Hara on Fist of the North Star, he serialized 'Mecha Battler Gilfer', 'Metal K', 'God Sider' and 'The Green Eyes' in Weekly Shonen Jump, the year-and-a-half run of 'God Sider' becoming one of his representative works. He later moved to seinen magazines such as Super Jump, where 'Mikistri' became a long-running serial.
