Kontaro

Kontaro (real name Mitsuyuki Takashina, born December 11, 1951, in Yabu, Hyogo Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. While still a university student he received an honorable mention in Weekly Shonen Jump's Young Jump award in 1974, won a prize at the Akatsuka Award in 1975 with 'Chichi Kaeru!!', and made his serial debut the same year with 'Yujo Gakuen'. From 2020 he revived his signature series '1-2 no Ahho!!' as 'Kaettekita 1-2 no Ahho!!' on a digital manga site.
