Makoto Isshiki
Makoto Isshiki is a female manga artist who debuted in 1984 in Young Magazine with "Kaori", which received an honorable mention at the 10th Chiba Tetsuya Award; Hanattare Boogie (1986) was her first serialization. She later won the 19th Kodansha Manga Award for Hanada Shōnen-shi and the Grand Prize in the manga division of the 12th Japan Media Arts Festival (2008) for Piano no Mori.
