Masaharu Kojima

Masaharu Kojima is a former pen name of Masaki Yamato (born January 1, 1954, in Yamato, Niigata Prefecture, now part of Minamiuonuma). After receiving an honorable mention at the 11th Tezuka Award in 1977, he debuted with a one-shot in Monthly Shonen Jump and, as Kojima Masaharu, serialized Shiroi Hunter and Yasei no Bible in Weekly Shonen Jump in the late 1970s. He later moved to seinen magazines under the name Masaki Yamato, with representative works including Agechau! Onna Kyōshi and Papa wa Ōmono!.
