Masahiro Hirakata

Masahiro Hirakata (born September 16, 1985) is a Japanese manga artist working mainly in Weekly Shonen Jump; he graduated from the Nihon Kogakuin vocational college. After winning the top prize in the Jump Jūniketsu newcomer award in 2005, he serialized Shinmai Fukei Kiruko-san (2012–2013) and Best Blue (2015) in Weekly Shonen Jump. He later drew Debby the Corsifa wa Makezugirai (2020–2024) and Shunrai Takkyū (from 2025) on Shōnen Jump+.
