Masami Kurumada
Masami Kurumada (born December 6, 1953) is a Japanese manga artist and lyricist born in Tsukishima, Chuo, Tokyo. Inspired to become a manga artist by Hiroshi Motomiya's Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daishou, he debuted at age 20 in Weekly Shonen Jump with Sukeban Arashi. He went on to serialize Ring ni Kakero, Fuma no Kojiro, Otokozaka, Saint Seiya and Silent Knight Sho in the same magazine, becoming one of the flagship artists of Jump's golden age.
