Mikio Ikemoto
Mikio Ikemoto (born 1977) is a manga artist from Kyoto Prefecture. His entry "Cosmos" was selected in the Tenka-ichi Manga Award in 1997, and a new one-shot of the same title in 1999 caught the attention of Masashi Kishimoto, who recruited him as an assistant on Naruto, a role he held for about 15 years until the series ended. Boruto, which he began drawing in 2016, moved from Weekly Shōnen Jump to V Jump in 2019.
