Motohiro Nishio

Motohiro Nishio is the creator of the original story for Mecha Battler Gilfer, drawn by Kōshi Makiki. The story began as an entry for the Kajiwara Prize, a manga-story contest held alongside the Tezuka and Akatsuka prizes, which Nishio submitted while a student at the University of Tokyo. He is also credited with the original concept in the 1992 new edition of Jun Tomizawa's Commander 0.
