Namie Odama
Namie Odama (born June 1, 1979, in Osaka) is a Japanese manga artist who has specialized in gag manga since her debut. She started out in 1995 with an honorable mention in Kodansha's Afternoon Shiki Award; in 2000 'Junjo Pine' took a runner-up prize in the 52nd Akatsuka Award and was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump the same year, followed by 'Shonen Esper Nejime' in the same magazine from 2002. Her later series include 'Mako-chan no Lip Cream' (2007-2014), her longest-running work.
