Naoshi Komi

Naoshi Komi (born March 28, 1986, in Tsuno, Kochi Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. His one-shot 'island' earned a runner-up prize in the 39th Jump Juniketsu newcomer award in 2006, and he made his professional debut in 2007, serializing his first series 'Double Arts' in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2008. His romantic comedy 'Nisekoi,' launched in the magazine in 2011, became a hit that received a television anime and other media adaptations.
