NISIOISIN

NISIOISIN (born 1981) is a Japanese novelist, manga writer and scriptwriter. He debuted in 2002 when 'Kubikiri Cycle' won the 23rd Mephisto Prize, and is known for works such as the Zaregoto series and the Monogatari series, which has received anime and game adaptations. In 2009 he made his debut as a serialized manga writer with 'Medaka Box' in Weekly Shonen Jump.
