Ryo Nakama

Ryo Nakama (born August 29, 1990, in Miyakojima, Okinawa) is a Japanese manga artist who left the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts to pursue manga. He debuted in 2013 when his 'Isobe Isobee' one-shots ran in Weekly Shonen Jump for two consecutive weeks as stand-in material for 'ONE PIECE,' and the resulting series 'Isobe Isobee Monogatari: Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo' was serialized from 2013 to 2017. His second serial, 'High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku,' ran in the same magazine from 2020 to 2023.
