Ryu Fujisaki
Ryu Fujisaki (born March 10, 1971, in Mutsu, Aomori Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. He received an honorable mention at the 39th Tezuka Award in 1990 with 'Hameln no Fuefuki', debuted the same year when 'WORLDS' took a runner-up prize at the 40th Tezuka Award, and began his first serial 'PSYCHO+' in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1992. His 1996 series 'Hoshin Engi' became a hit that was animated in 1999, followed by 'Sakuratetsu Taiwahen' (2002), 'Waqwaq' (2004) and a manga adaptation of the horror novel 'Shiki' (2008-2011).
