Shinji Hiramatsu

Shinji Hiramatsu (born August 22, 1955, in Takahashi, Okayama Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. He debuted with the one-shot Shobu, drawn as a first-year high school student and published in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1971; scouted by editor Hiroki Goto, he moved to Tokyo and, after assisting Norihiro Nakajima, launched his first serial, Doberman Deka. His representative works include Doberman Deka, Black Angels and Murder License Kiba, and he serves as an adviser to the Japan Cartoonists Association.
