Shinobu Onishi
Japanese manga artist from Ehime Prefecture. Onishi received an honorable mention at the 23rd Tezuka Award in 1982 for "Dear Tomika" and debuted with ACE-001 in Fresh Jump. For the 1985 Weekly Shōnen Jump serialization Mister Lion, about a suspended police officer ordered to teach at a girls' school, Onishi left Matsuyama and worked from an inn in Tokyo.
