Shiro Tozaki

Shiro Tozaki (born 1943 in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture) is a Japanese manga writer who has also used pen names such as Eishi Ai, Shiro Sugi and Joe Shitsuki. After working as a substitute teacher he became a freelance editor at Weekly Shonen Jump before turning to writing manga stories. His representative works include Astro Kyudan (1972-1976, drawn by Norihiro Nakajima) and Zero: The Man of the Creation (1991-2011, written as Eishi Ai); his other story credits include V no Kuchibue (1971) and Sky Eagle (1979).
