Takeshi Konomi
Born in 1970 in Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture, and a graduate of Tokai University. He debuted in 1993 with 'Tetsujin: Sekaiichi Katai Otoko' and began his first serial, 'Cool: Rental Bodyguard', in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997. His hit series 'The Prince of Tennis' (1999-2008) was adapted into a TV anime, musicals, and a live-action film, and its sequel, 'New Prince of Tennis', ran in Jump SQ from 2009 to 2026.
