Takeshi Miya

Born in 1959 in Kotohira, Kagawa Prefecture. In 1978 he received the runner-up prize at the 15th Tezuka Award for 'Marathon Hatchan', and he went on to serialize 'Go Shoot' (1979-1980) and 'Bun no Seishun!' (1980-1981) in Weekly Shonen Jump. 'Kaze no Field', which ran in Weekly Shonen Champion, is counted among his representative works.
