Takeshi Okano

Takeshi Okano (born May 9, 1967, in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist and a graduate of Waseda University. He debuted in 1987 with 'Bohatsu! Yuriko-sensei' and won the 28th Akatsuka Award in 1988 with 'AT Lady!'. His representative work is the 'Hell Teacher Nube' series created with writer Sho Makura; his other Weekly Shonen Jump serials include 'Tsurikkizu Pintaro', 'Magician Square' and 'Gedoh the Unidentified Mysterious Boy'.
