Tetsuya Chiba
Tetsuya Chiba (born 1939 in Tokyo) is a manga artist who debuted in 1956, at 17, with a rental-book (kashihon) manga. He is best known for Ashita no Joe (story by Asao Takamori), Harris no Kaze and Notari Matsutarō, has been president of the Japan Cartoonists Association since 2018, and received the Order of Culture in 2024.
