Tite Kubo

Tite Kubo (born June 26, 1977) is a Japanese manga artist from Fuchu, Aki District, Hiroshima Prefecture. He debuted in 1996 with 'ULTRA UNHOLY HEARTED MACHINE' in a Weekly Shonen Jump special issue, began his first serial in the magazine with Zombiepowder. in 1999, and serialized Bleach there from 2001 to 2016, which became a worldwide hit; his other notable works include Burn the Witch. He won the 50th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen category for Bleach in 2005 and an Inkpot Award in 2008.
