Tsugumi Oba
Japanese manga writer from Tokyo who works under a pen name, with gender and birth date undisclosed. Oba debuted in 2003 with a Death Note one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump drawn by Takeshi Obata; its serialized version (2004-2006) became a hit acclaimed internationally and adapted into live-action films, anime, novels and more. With Obata, Oba went on to write Bakuman (2008-2012) and Platinum End (2015-2021, Jump Square).
