Yoshihiro Togashi

Yoshihiro Togashi (born 1966) is a Japanese manga artist who debuted in 1987 with 'Tonda Birthday Present' and began his first serialization, Tende Showaru Cupid, in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1989. His major works YuYu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, and Level E have all been adapted into TV anime, and YuYu Hakusho earned him the 39th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen category in 1993. He continues to serialize Hunter x Hunter in Weekly Shonen Jump on an irregular schedule.
