This work is the author's debut work. It was published in book form in 1987 (all 1 volume). Approximately one month after the series ended, ``Sasuke Gaiden'', which depicts the future of the main character Sasuke, was published in ``Weekly Shonen Jump Special Edition Autumn Special'' released in October.
